With the Database Manager GUI, you can set up a brand new DB in no time - simply fill in its name and that's it. You will notice a list of all your DBs and their corresponding sizes. You will be able to alter passwords, to create database backups and to even log in to the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin tools.
Simple Database Backups
It is quite important to create frequent backups of your databases to secure your website content and to refrain from any eventual loss of data. With the Database Manager user interface, creating a database backup is extremely easy. Simply click on the Backup icon next to the database you would like to back up and you will be immediately taken to the File Manager from where you can download your freshly created database backup file.
MySQL and PgSQL Databases
The number of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL databases that you can set up varies based on the web hosting package that you have chosen.
